With the rapid development of Polypropylene (PP) consumption, continuous PP production becomes mature and suitable for large-scaled production. The market needs more qualified products and the varieties of this product are also in bad need, which challenges the intermission-styled PP production. As a result, it is significant to know today's PP production and its development and make related strategic planning and to carry it out.On the basis of strategic management theory and the analysis of international and domestic production circumstances, this paper analyses the internal and external environment that PP production faces and the advantages and disadvantages of its production and make its own development strategy. Furthermore, according to the development of intermission-typed PP production in Cangzhou Refinery Plant and its present problems, the author puts forward specific measures.
