This thesis was focused on the construction of coordination polymers arrays by usingCu(Ⅱ) ion as metal center and 4,4'-dps, 4,4'-bpy, bpta as the ligand.The main research results are described as follows:1. Three copper salts (sulfate, nitrate and perchlorate) as precursors to react with dpsunder different conditions, eleven novel coordination compounds were obtained throughadding the different coanions or second ligand.Eleven novel complexes have been prepared by the reaction of 4,4'-dipyridyl sulfide whichused as the ligand and the Cu(Ⅱ) ion through adding the different anions:{[Cu(dps)2(SO4)2][Cu(dps)(H2O)2(SO4)][Cu(dps)(H2O)3]·10H2O·EtOH}n(1)(3-Dframework), {[Cu(dps)2·SO4]·2CH3OH·3H2O}n(2)(3-D framework),{[Cu(dps)2·(SO4)2][Ca(dEs)·Cl·(H2O)2]2·12H2O}n(3)(3-D framework),{[Cu(dps)2(H2O)2]·2PF6·3H2O}n(4)(2-D undulating grid),{[Cu(SCN)2(dps)(CH3OH)2][Cu(dps)2·SO4][Cu(dps)(EtOH)2·SO4]·5H2O}n(5)(3-Dframework), [Cu(dps)(dca)2(CH3OH)2]n(6)(1-D chain), [Cu(dps)(bpe)(SO4)·6H2O]n(7)(3-D framework), {[Cu(dps)2(DMF)2](ClO4)2}n(8)(2-D undulating grid),{[Cu(dps)4(H2O)2]·(ClO4)2·H2O}(9)(3-D framework),{[Cu(dps)2(DMF)(H2O)]2[Cu(dps)2(H2O)2](NO3)6·(DMF)·6H2O}n(10)(2-D undulating grid)and {[Cu(dps)2(H2O)2](NO3)2·2H2O}n(11)(1-D chain). These crystal structures have shownthat the coordination ability of the corresponding anions is essential in determining the finalstructures, and the influence of solvent is also significant. The second-order nonlinearoptical property of compound 1, 8, 9, 10 and 11 is also studied qualitatively in this paper.2. Five coordination frameworks constructed by Cu(Ⅱ) and dipyridyl ligands such as4,4'-bEy, phen, bipyridyl-2,3,5-triazole (bpta) were reported. The mononuclear precursor[Cu(DMF)4(SCN)2](12) was obtained from the reaction between CuSO4 and KSCN andaccording to the predesign, the complex was self-assembled with 4,4'-bpy to form a stable1D line of [Cu(μ-4,4-bpy)(SCN)2(DMF)2]∞(13), with phen to form a 1D double-stranded chain of [Cu(phen)(μ-SCN)2]∞(14), with o-bpta to form a tetranuclear complex[Cu(o-bpta)(SCN)]4 (15), with p-bpta to form a 1D zigzag chain of[Cu2(μ-bpta)2(SCN)2(DMF)2(μ-SCN)2]∞(16) in which thiocyanate anion linked theCu-bpta-Cu chain into an infinite 2D network via weak Cu…S interaction. To treatment of13 and bridging anion dca, a novel 3D framework [Cu(μ-bpta)(μ-dca)(μ-SCN)]∞(17) wasobtained, in which Cu-bpta-Cu chain is preserved and both thiocyanate anion and dca act asbridging ligands.3. The synthesis of a novel complex [Ni(H2O)4(4,4'-bpy)2](Hac)2(18) from thesolid-state reaction of nickel acetate and 4,4'-bipyridyl (bpy), 4-hydroxycinnamic acid(H2ca) at the room temperature. The crystal structure was determined by X-ray diffractionand characterized by IR, TG and elemental analysis.
