The Study On Dimensional Stability Of Woolen Sweater Weaved With Flat Knitting Machine

The knitted woolen fabrics is favored by consumers with fine elasticity, cold-proof, moisture absorption, soft luster and soft hand. But becauce of fabric forming rules' complexity and the effect of different materials and different finishing technology during knitted woolen fabrics' process, the dimensional stability of knitted woolen fabrics haven't be well solved.This thesis aims at studying the dimensional stability of knitted woolen fabrics weaved with flat knitting machine. Find out the factors influencing the dimensional stability of knitted woolen fabrics separately from the dyeing craft of yarn, weaving craft of fabric, mode of combination while weaving together with Lycra and finishing technology, put forward effective measures, improve wearing characteristics and quality of knitted woolen fabrics.Set about from the dyeing craft of yarn in thesis, by the experiment, find that: the size characteristic of dark fabric and tint fabric has certain differences when other process conditions are the same, it illuminates that the dyeing craft of the yarn effects on the dimensional stability of knitted woolen fabrics.Some technological parameters such as the line density of yarn, loop length etc. that effect on the dimensional stability of knitted woolen fabrics have been analyzed, and the method of confirming reasonably has been offered.By the experiment, we obtained that: the dimensional stability of knitted woolen fabrics could be improved obviously while woolen yarn weaves together with Lycra, and the mode of combination between woolen yarn and Lycra is different, the dimensional stability of knitted woolen fabrics is different.In the thesis, we also replaced traditional steam iron with new heat-setting apparatus to finish woolen fabric, improved the dimensional stability of woolen fabric weaved with flat knitting machine, and obtained perfect heat-setting process by orthogonal experiment.
