So its application was very extensive. If its dynamic fatigueproperty could be improved further, it would have more comprehensive use. So TPIwas blended with CR, and the effect of all factors such as accelerator, filler etc on theproperties of the blend were studied.Experimental results showed that by adding TPI to CR, the adhensive forcebetween compound and roller decreased. Compared with CR, the scorch time ofGR/TPI compound was shorten and the flex fatigue resistance performance of CR/TPIvulcanizate was improved. When the Mooney viscosity of TPI was close that of CR,the flex fatigue resistance performance of CR/TPI vulcanizate was optimum. Theproper TPI content was from 10 phr to 20 phr.The effects of Studies accelerator TMTD, Na-22 and DM on properties of CR/TPIvulcanizates were studied. Flex fatigue resistance performance of CR/TPI vulcanizatewith accelerant TMTD was better than that with accelerator Na-22 and accelerator DM.The comprehensive properties of the vulcanizates with accelerant DM were better thanthat with accelerant Na-22. The proper content of TMTD was from 1.0 phr to 1.3 phr.When accelerant Na-22 was used with accelerant DM, the flex fatigue resistanceperformance of CR/TPI vulcanizate decreased with larger contents of accelerant Na-22. By this, the proper content of accelerant Na-22 was less than 0.8 phr.Carbon black can greatly improve the mechanical properties and flex fatigueproperties of CR/TPI vulcanizates.The property of flex crack increase resistance ofCR/TPI vulcanizate was improved with the increase of particle size of carbon black.particle was larger. With the increase of the content of carbon black, the scorch time ofCR/TPI compound was shorten and the curing rate was improved. The comprehensiveproperties of CR/TPI vulcanizate were better, when the content of N330 was less than45 phr. When carbon black and silica was used together, tear strength, Compressionheat build-up and abrasion resistance properties of the vulcanizates were improvedwith the increase of the ratio of silica to carbon black. But at the same time, theproperty of flex crack increase resistance of CR/TPI vulcanizate decreased. The properratio of Si69 to silica was less than 1/12 in CR/TPI vulcanizate.Compared with antiager OD and antiager RD, antiger 4010 and antiager MB canimpart better flex fatigue resistance properties for CR/TPI vulcanizate, but theintegrate properties of the vulcanizate were better balanced by using antiager MB.The effect of CTPI content on the properties of CR and CR/TPI vulcanizates wasalso investigated. The results showed that with the increase of CTPI content, theadhensive force between the compound and rollers was enhanced. At the same time,the flex fatigue resistance properties of CR/CTPI and CR/TPI/CTPI vulcanizates weregreatly improved. CR, CP/CTPI and CR/TPI/CTPI had different crack section shape,that of CR was tidiness, and that of CR/TPI/CTPI and CR/CTPI were invention andlayer seperately.
