Development And Application On Flexibility Of Group Welding Tools And Fixtures For End Wall Of Railway Freight Wagon

Considering the need of multiple kinds of freight wagons in the course of production, in order to solve the problems due to long term preparation, low rate for application and high production cost of tools & fixtures caused by adopting the rigid fix tools & fixtures and frequent change of tools & fixtures existing in operation of previous end wall group welding, the research on flexibility of group welding tools & fixtures of freight wagon end wall have realized quick production process changeover among various wagon types and achieve low production cost so as to meet the demand of multiple kinds, small quantity and short term delivery, and provide the theory and direction in practice for adoption of flexible tools and fixtures in production of Chinese freight wagons as well.Facing with the current situation of popular use of light flexible tools & fixtures in automobile vehicle industry and technology blank existing in middle and heavy duty flexible tools & fixtures both abroad and at home, this project has researched and analyzed the end wall structure and production process of railway freight wagons and sufficiency of the existing tools & fixtures field, studied the possibility of flexibility of tools & fixtures, and the economic benefits of the flexible group welding tools & fixtures of wagon end wall as well. Adopting design principle of the combined tools & fixtures, this project has studied various key technology of tools & fixtures being flexible, analyzed the structure and combined scheme of fundamental parts of flexible tools & fixtures and flexibility and standardization of fixing units, forwarded the structure of the platform for such basic work and rigidity design method and approach of flexible tools and fixtures.The research in this field has broken through various key technology of flexibility of middle size and heavy duty tools & fixtures, developed structure of fundamental parts and combined scheme of end wall flexible group welding tools & fixtures, as a result, the designed fixtures & tools have realized integration with group technology, information technology and mechanical and electric aspects, the unit combination has achieved in the aspects of series, standard and module.The fact and multi-fuzzy evaluation has proved that flexibility of end wall group welding tools & fixtures will achieve purposes of quick reconstruction, reliable performance, short time production preparation of freight wagons, reduce repeat manufacturing of process equipment, enhance production efficiency and decrease the production cost tailoring to the need of product production change. This technology has been in the lead of domestic similar industry, filled the technology blank and been awarded novelty patent prize in China.
