Recently years, with quick development of economy and increase of social need, petroleum as source of energy is exhausted there will be no more. Petroleum quality is worsening because of excessive exploitation. For enterprise, strengthening equipment management and prolonging start working time are important measures of improving economic benefit. Equipment anticorrosion is one of important factories that ensure steady run of equipment.For refining equipment, the cause of equipment corrosion is impurities of crude oil. Including inorganic compound, sulfide, nitride, organic acid, water, oxygen, carbon dioxide and so on. A small quantity of impurity brought on harm greatly.Corrosion kinds of petroleum process is complicated properly, which depended on crude oil quality, products, temperature, pressure, refining processing, position of equipment etc. Generally speaking, there are two corrosion kinds from corrosion effects of corrosive environment temperature and corrosion medium, corrosion in low-temperature section and corrosion in high-temperature section (low-temperature section is the section that temperature is under 230℃and exist liquid water. high-temperature section is the section that corrosive environment temperature is intervenient 240℃ and 500℃), for oil refinery, 260℃is circumscription that differentiate low-temperature section and corrosion in high-temperature section. The temperature of the dome of atmospheric vacuum columns is about 100℃, vests in corrosion in low-temperature section that attributed to HCl-H2S-H2O medium corrosion, else electrochemical corrosion because of water. High temperature corrosion depended on sulfide and naphthenic acid which attributed to chemical corrosion of S -H2S-RSH and RCOOH medium corrosion, concentrated on atmospheric furnace and exit transfer line, atmospheric column, vacuum furnace, vacuum transfer line, vacuum column and so on.The protection of petroleum process equipment is important part of petroleum industry. In anticorrosion process, removing corrosion medium, proper material, reasonable design of metal structure, electrochemical protection, process anticorrosion—desalting and four injections were used greatly, and did well in recent years. The corrosion situation of different refineries existed common ground and differentia. Different equipment protection had respective methods.Studying corrosion applied science combined with actual work, planned out the measure of anticorrosion in allusion to Sheng Hua oil refinery. The maintenance results showed that did well in equipment anticorrosion, improved equipment running, prolonged equipment life and obtained economic profit. But, compared with advanced enterprise, equipment anticorrosion have great gap. We need further research for equipment anticorrosion and corrosion mechanism that help us to protect equipment and prolong equipment life.
