It is studied the process of water and oil repellent finishing of cotton fibre by useof organic fluorine, and the antistatic of the cotton fabric treated with organic fluorine.Discussed the factor which can bring influence to water and oil repellent finishingof cotton fibre by use of organic fluorine, and the improvement to water and oilrepellent finishing with the use of antistatic nano-powder. Studied the Zeta potential,the capability of water and oil repellent, endurance of it's nature, the whiteness of thefabric, scanning electron microscope (SEM), infrared ray spectra, EnergyDispersive Analysis of X-ray (EDAX). Analysed the influence to the nature offabric under different treatment condition.The results show that the finishing with organic fluorine can improve the waterand oil repellent ability obviously, endurance have something to do with theconcentration of the organic fluorine finishing reagent, baking temperature, and thepH value of the finishing reagent. Organic fluorine treatment have little influence tothe whiteness of cotton fabric. A piece of layer can be found adhering to the cottonfibre through the SEM, after the organic fluorine finishing. The layer change touneven after wash several times. Even parts of the layer shell from it, and makes it nomore slippy. It will weaken it's water and oil repellent ability. Study the changes ofthe surface and the surface elements of the cellulose fibre by scanning electronmicroscope (SEM) and SEM-EDAX. Test the performance of water and oil repellentbefore and after the organic fluorine treatment. The influence of the concentration andtemperature of the organic fluorine on the finishing result is investigated andoptimized the parameters of experiment. It shows that the cotton fabric treated withthe water and oil repellent organic fluorine can obtain better water and oil repellency.Studied the nature of the antistatic nano-powder. Dispersed the nano-powderwith some different dispersants, and select a better dispersant. Put some antistaticnano-powder, which has been dispersed with dispersant, into the water and oil repellent organic fluorine finishing reagent. The results show that the treatment cangain a nice antistatic ability and the ability of water and oil repellent retain still.
