Nowadays, polypropylene SMS non-woven fabric and wood pulp composite spunlace nonwoven fabric are the main raw materials of disposable surgical gown on the market. Surgical clothing materials require good wearing comfort and protection performance. But after three repellent and antistatic finishing non-woven surgical gown materials’ comfort should be further improved when doctors do high-intensity surgical operations. It is necessary to carry out non-woven surgical gown materials "three repellent and antistatic/directional water-transfer" finishing, so protection performance and comfort will coexist. In this topic, there are several finishing methods, such as plasma etching, spraying, printing coating, blade coating, foam finishing method. As polypropylene SMS non-woven fabric, wood pulp composite spunlace nonwoven fabric having different properties and structural characteristics, it’s very urgent for currently producing industries and applications markets to figure out complete table filled with optimized engineering parameters for the two different materials. The topic is on the basis of a large number of technical investigations, literature inquiries and international exchanges, focuses on doing the following aspects:Firstly, with the consideration of the principle of liquid repellent, antistatic principle, hydrophilic mechanism, directional water-transfer mechanism and the compatibility of chemical reagents requirements, reagents were selected as following:TG-580as liquid repellent reagents, TF-629as hydrophilic reagents,TF-481as anti-static agent, Alcohol C-6as penetrants, TF-313as thickener, LA132as adhesive, Sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) as blowing agent, hydroxyethyl cellulose (HEC) as foam stabilizer agent. Secondly, after exploring suitable finishing process for two different non-woven surgical gown raw materials, we determine the foam finishing method for polypropylene SMS nonwoven surgical gown material. Finally, single factor experiment and orthogonal experiment had been done to get the best ratio of the fluorine finishing agents, anti-static agent and hydrophilic agent, drying temperature and time, baking temperature and time. And Characterizing for three repellent and antistatic performance, and directional water-transfer performance of optimal specimen has been done. After these studies, the following conclusions can be drawn:(1) After studying of screen printing finishing and blade coating finishing for wood pulp spunlace composite coating finishing we have found:the treated materials show directional water-transfer effect, but poor water repellent performance, we analyze that it is due to the addition of thickening agent and binding agent covering C-F bond, and continuous water-repellent molecular film hasn’t formed on the raw material’s surface.(2) Having explored suitable "three repellent and antistatic/directional water-transfer" finishing process for two different surgical gowns materials respectively. Wood pulp composite spunlace surgical gown:haven’t found the right finishing process; polypropylene SMS surgical gown Material:foam finishing process.(3) After foam finishing procedure, all sample qualities can reach a basic standard of "medical disposable protective clothing technical requirements"(GB19082-2009), and all samples have an interesting unidirectional water-transfer effect. In detail, the alcohol resistant could reach the highest level10, the magnitude of surface resistivity is less than≤108Ω, hydrostatic pressure resistance value smaller than the standard value.By nine groups of orthogonal test, the best finishing process parameters was obtained, the best ratio of the foam coating finishing agents is as follows, hydrophilic agent’s concentration is30g/L, waterproof agent’s concentration is75g/L, antistatic agent’s concentration is75g/L, drying temperatures and time are80℃,3min, baking temperatures and time are120℃,3min; foaming agent SDS:5g/L; foam stabilizer HEC:0.1%.Using foam coating baking process, the process is:three repellent and antistatic coating finishing on single sideâ†'Drying, bakingâ†'hydrophilic foam coating on single sideâ†'Drying, baking(The mangle expression of foam coating process is about32%; pre-baking temperature:80℃,3min; baking temperature:120℃,3min)...
