Based on summarizing the spinning mechanism and the superior property ofcompact-spun yarn, the existing problems of domestic ordinary ring color-spun yarn, thenew product of 14.6 Tex pure cotton compact color-spun yarn was developed and thescouring, dyeing and the spinning process design of cotton loose fiber was discussed indetail in this paper.Based on analyzing the influence factors of the quality of compact color-spun yarn,the influence factors of spun yarn such as the maturity of raw cotton, the quantity ofdefects, broken seeds with cotton fiber, the short fiber ratio of raw cotton, the quality ofsemi-finished products during carding and combing process, the negative pressure valueof compact spinning frame, the drafting ratio of back zone,the size of ring traveller werequantitatively analyzed in detail. At the same time in order to assure the quality of spunyarn, the quality requirements of raw cotton and semi-finished products during carding andcombing process of compact color-spun yarn were put forward reasonably.Three technological parameters such as the nesting negative pressure value ofcompact spinning frame, the drafting ratio of back zone and the size of ring traveler wereoptimized by orthogonal design and variance analysis, the result showed that there wasgreatest influence of the nesting negative pressure value on the quality of spun yarn andthere was least of the size of ring traveller.At last the comparison between compact color-spun yarn and ordinary ring color-spunyarn was made, and it was concluded that the yarn evenness, especially the yarn nips wasone of the most important influence factors on the strength of the spun yarn. The relatedexperimental data was analyzed by analyzing software Origin7.0, the regression curveand regression equation between them were obtained.
