First of all, the method of finite element emulation and its application in ANSYS are researched. The relevant links in the process of the static force calculation for the derrick are analyzed in detail. The different combined working conditions of the derrick's static force calculation are set according to the API standard. The load and its distribution of each working condition are analyzed. On the basis of those mentioned above, the ANSYS command streams of the modeling, loading and calculation for the derrick and rig substructure are developed. Then the obtaining, arrangement and evaluation for the result of static force calculation are achieved with the further development of ANSYS's post processing function. Thus their finite element emulation is completed, when the methods of the derrick and rig substructure's finite element analysis and evaluation are set.Secondly, the finite element emulation for the process of derrick telescoping is achieved. The methods of static analysis and evaluation with ANSYS are set for the derrick telescoping process, static condition of the assembled derrick and the man-like shelf used in derrick telescoping process.Thirdly, after setting predicted working condition for the static analysis of the derrick and analyzing principle and process of derrick's structural advancement, the method of derrick's structural advancement is established. Thus the problem of derrick's inadequate stress during static analysis is solved. Finally, application of"permissible stress amplitude method"in derrick's fatigue calculation and application of"ULS theory and checking computations point method"in derrick's reliability calculation is analyzed. On this theoretic basis, analyzing and evaluating method of derrick's fatigue and reliability is achieved with analyzing working condition for the derrick's fatigue and reliability and programming for analysis of derrick's fatigue and reliability.
