This paper briefly introduces the calculation and analysis of slope stability analysis theory and calculation method. In open-pit mine slope stability analysis of uncertain factors of instructions, and puts forward the necessity of calculating reliability. And the reliability calculation method is discussed, and according to function for partial derivative and calculation of no convergence to the finite element software of the problems and function independent variable exists between the correlation this problem, the research on deep and puts forward a new reliability calculation method of generalized namely finite element reliability. Through the partial least-square regression analysis principle, function of communication in got generalized finite element reliability, make the two organic union. Not only can play the role of a simplified calculation, and ensure the precision. This paper also for quadratic reliability calculation principle applied retaining calculation gives some specific quantitative expression. Combining spirit springs open-air coal ore specific example calculation.
