Ore tailing, as a kind of waste outcome after selecting ,ore should be piled up by building ore tailing pool, so the method will take over plenty of soil and we must spend labor power and material resources for upholding ore tailing. At the same time, the method may pollute environment. The method that we make use of ore tailing not only can reduce stacking of ore tailing, save the expenditure of building the dam and of preventing flood, improve the health of mining area environment, but also can take good advantage of resources, set up a new way for the building material. The experiment of the paper utilizes ore tailing of Shirengou Mine Tangshan as the sample ore of the test for researching resource of ore tailing. The mine is deposition metamorphic rock of Anshan, and principal metallic minerals of it are magnetic iron ore, and principal rocky minerals include quartz chlorite calcite and amphibole. The chemical constitution of ore tailing is simple, The content of SiO2 is 65%~75%,the content of Tfe is 5%~8%, so it is ore tailing of silicon which of the content is high. The chemical constitution of ore tailing is in the proximity of the architectural material. Shuichang Mine and Shirengou Mine is very typical mine.By the analysis of the feature of ore tailing, the ore tailing has not the cost of reclaiming iron, therefore, the experiment uses directly ore tailing to make bricks.Varied materials should be added while making bricks by ore tailing, which can improve performance of the product. By experiment, making bricks by ore tailing mainly includes two ways. When making bricks without autoclave curing and sinter-roasting,if the materials of the experiment only include ore tailing and cement which reach a given proportion, coupon can reach the request of intensity; but medium sand can not improve the performance of the coupon, so it must not be added; when some thick skeletal material be added , the performance of coupon can reach the request of intensity, but with the contrast of the intensity of not adding the skeletal material, the improvement of the request is not apparent. By the design of the test, body formation is shock formation; maintenance system is 20 degree Centigrade, ten days or twenty-eight days. While making autoclave ore tailing bricks, under the conditions of a given proportion of thick skeletal material and flyash added to ore tailing and cement, the bricks can reach the request of the intensity. It shows graduation of ore tailing is good. By the design of the test, body formation is shock formation; autoclave system is 175 degree Centigrade, maintenance system is hydrothermal evapour of high pressure.At last, the paper also analyses the performance of physics mechanics, microscopic experiment, the hydrated mechanics and the intensity mechanics.
