Study On Stabilization Of Municipal Solid Waste Landfills

Landfills, as one of the methods of solid waste disposal, has been the most environmentally acceptable method both in China and throughout the world, because it's simple and economical. But as the improvement of city stepping on the juice, land is urgent needed, the old and completed landfills now become to be hot. The stabilization of landfills is a long and complicated process,study on the stabilization of landfills is good to mitigate or eliminate the contaminants and reuse the landfills safely in maximum.Based on the field experiment in Xihaidi landfill and Xitian landfill, we studied the characters of the aged landfills, simultaneity analyzed the mechanism,influence factors and indexes of the stabilization process. And then an evaluation index system was set up from the following four parts: the refuse, leachate, landfill gas and the settlement of landfills. The appearance index, content of degradable organics, water content, the organic carbon and BDM were included in the refuse characteristic, the CODcr. BOD5. SS. NH3-N belong to the leachate, the landfill gas output and the speed of landfill settlement belong to the two behind.Considering the facts about the simple landfills, the appearance index,Content of the degradable organics,COD content in the leachate and the maximum gas output were chosen as the evaluation index. With the fuzzy evaluation, we concluded that Xihaidi landfill and Xitian landfill were already well stabilized. Because of the subjectivity of the selection of the index, there exists some error. At the same time, avoiding too much manual count, we use C++ language, make a computer program, so as to get the results more quickly and use widely.This paper provide a way of thinking for the simple landfills, the evaluation index system , the method and the computer program have important reference value for various landfills in our country.
