Low contamination synthetical green paint coating is considered to be the main development direction of coating industries of the 21st century. Current researches focus on water dissolvable coatings, high-solid coatings and ultraviolet curing coatings (UVCC). Water dissolvable coating with water as the dispersion medium, have advantages such as non-toxic, odorless and difficult to combustion, low-pollution., etc. UVCC has characteristics like fast curing, solvent-free, no atmospheric emissions of volatile organic compounds, and because it's environmentally friendly advantages, UVCC has and certainly will have developed rapidly in various industries.Performance of UVCC depends mainly on the performance of its film-forming photosensitive resin. Existing uv-curing resin is generally linear structure and rarely has spatial structures and thus the stability of resin is not very satisfactory its andabrasion resistance is not well enough. Through the introduction of pentaerythritol which has a space structure multi-functional of, a synthesis of good stability, excellent mechanical properties with 4-branched star-like epoxy acrylic UV-curing resin. This resin has a reticular crosslinking formation with three-dimensional structure after the photo initiator. With its high mechanical strength, high hardness, toughness, and good wear resistance, it can be used as crosslinking agent and the principal resin of UVCC production. Mean while raw materials of this product is easy to get and thus very conducive to industrial-scale production. On the basis of four functional groups acrylic UV-curing resin, the existing main UV-curable coatings - Acrylic photosensitive resin synthesis technology is improved. Further development of six new acrylic acid functional groups of photosensitive resin is be synthesized also.Two new acrylic photosensitive resin ( triglycidyl isocyanuarate acrylate and dual-phthalic biquadratic diethylene glycol diacrylate ) with better performance have been produced and a simple and a easy to control, environmental friendly synthetic methods with mild reaction conditions has been achieved. Triglycidyl isocyanuarate acrylate is superior in weatherability, thermal stability, cross-linked, fast curing speed. Dual-phthalic acid biquadratic diethylene glycol diacrylate has good weatherrability, pollution-resistant and has good performance in acid and basic resistance and therefor can greatly reduce the stimulation of the skin and the cost of UVCC. The New Synthesis of acrylic resin production process is cleanand has no pollution to the environment. Research results in this paper maybe achieve cleaner production provided technical support for the UVCC industries.
