Research On Ecological Environment Comprehensive Assessment Methods For Coast Marine Area

Ecological management is the trend of the marine management development, accordingtly, marine environment assessment have changed from the separated pollution status's assessment (including water quality, sediment and biology stutus) to the comprehensive marine entironment assessment. However, the current standard of marine entironment assessment doesn't include the ecological indexes, such as the diversity indexes of the phytoplankton, zooplantonton and zoobethos, eutrophication and red tide, which reflect the changes of ecosystem's structures and functions. This thesis took Dalian Bay as an example, to construct an entironment comprehensive assessment model, and it as a tool to do some research on the Dalian bay's entironment condition and development trend, and gave some suggestions and management measures.Based on the ecological structure's characters of Dalian bay and it's recently ecological condition, with using the method of "ecological condition comprehensive assessment" from Europe Union and the "comprehensive assessment for coastal water" from USA as a reference, this thesis selected the most impotant factors as the indexes. Treating the biological factor as the maily element, and intruding the social economical influence, the ecological comprehensive assessment for Dalian bay was established, which including physical and chemical conditions, biological and social economical systems. This model consist 3 subsystem and 24 factors.Finally, the system's hiberarchy is established by analysising the relations of these factors, the factors' weight were endowed by compraring the matrixes.Based on the ecological comprehensive assessment for Dalian bay and the confirmed assessment classification, the result of Dalian bay's ecological condition in 2006 was received. The comprehensive indexΣPi is 0.5034, which is between slightly bad (0.4518)and border line(0.5458). The DIN and IP are the mainly pollutants. According to the assessment result, some management and protection measures were given.This research put the social economical factor into the ecological comprehensive assessment model, quantificationally analysed and assessed its influence to the economical environment, set a reference foundation for region development programming and the related policy. This model is practical and avalible and can give a reference to the ecological comprehensive assessment of other coast marine area.
