At present, the Jack Up platform is a kind of equipment which is used in marine oil exploitation most widely. The common target of every practitioner of Ocean Engineering is that ensure the Jack Up platform working in safety. The structural safety under the wave and other environmental loads is basic requirement. The designer need consider the effect to structure owing to environmental loads in their work, so as to check the safety in extreme ocean states. According to the common structure of Jack Up's leg which is suffered the wave loads mainly. We can exploit a special system which can solve the Jack Up's structural finite element analysis. It can improve efficiency and avoid plenty of repeated operation.ANSYS is one of the most famous large-scale finite element software and it includes strong preprocessor, solver and postprocessor functions. ANSYS can solve complex and complicated engineering problems. However, as general finite element software, ANSYS do not very well in specialized field. What's more, Jack Up platform has many specific characteristics. So, developing a specialized program, which will be applied in the structural analysis of Jack Up platform in the second-development environments provided by ANSYS, has became a impending need in ocean engineering.On the basis of the finite element analysis summarization of structural analysis of Jack Up platform, this paper used VC++ 6.0 to develop the program module that can calculate the wave and wind loads, and used APDL to develop the program module that can achieve parameterized analysis about environmental loads on Jack Up's leg and spud tank. At last, the program will connect parallel the two modules depending on the development interface of ANSYS. The whole program can achieve solution and analysis quickly basing on the parameters of Jack Up's leg and spud tank; the environmental parameters of wave height, water depth and wind speed. The post-processing function can obtain the relevant results according to rules. Totally, it is a quick and reliable tool that supply checking and analysis to help fix each component's dimension of Jack Up's leg and spud tank in the designing initial stage. At the end of this paper, the author compares the results which obtained from this program and SESAM in same environmental conditions, so as to prove this program correct and practial.
