Leather product industry is among the key industries of China's light industry. However, there are many problems impact the development of domestic leather product industry, such as singularity of product, low utilization ratio of raw materials and heavy work force for workers. On the other hand, costly imported leather cutting system greatly restricts the demand for advanced cutting technique to considerable amount of small-size leather product plants.Research on numerical control leather cutting system, which could efficiently help to improve product yield and competitive strength, is the key point of numerical control technique's development. Therefore, it is of great importance to develop a pseudo flexible leather product manufacturing system integrated with leather color matching, texture classification, optimal typeset and automatic cutting functions.This paper mainly carries out research on automatic cutting techniques of pseudo flexible leather product manufacturing system.Chapter 1 briefly introduces the leather cutting technique and present situation of numerical control leather cutting system in China and abroad. After that, raises the significance and difficult points of research on numerical control leather cutting system, finally, expatiates on the main contents of this paper, and establish the structure of this paper.Chapter 2 expatiates on the design of numerical control leather cutting system. Firstly, introduces the whole structure based on system functional requirement analysis, and then confirms the specific system parameters as well. At last, places great emphasis on control hardware and software scheme.Chapter 3 mainly introduces path optimization method for numerical control leather cutting system. The optimization process divides into two aspects according to the characteristics of leather cutting process: One is for cutting path optimization, and the other is for leather pattern contour smoothing. Therefore, brings forward a self-adaptive MMAS algorithm based path optimization method and a quartic Bezier curve based corner smoothing method respectively.Chapter 4 primarily concerns about tuning of servo system parameters, which is usually a time-consuming task. In order to simplify the procedure, proposes an ant system algorithm based PID parameter tuning method, and exhaustively explains the implement of the new method.Chapter 5 carries out some related experiments to validate the effectiveness of the proposed methods when applying to the real cutting system. The last chapter is about the conclusion and the expectation of the paper.
