High-speed CNC leather cutter is a newly-developing high-tech equipment, which integrates CAD/CAM/CNC and includes leather color matching, texture classification, automatic optimization typeset and automatic cutting as the core technologies. The thesis mainly aims to research and develop the high-speed CNC leather cutter in terms of process technique's speciality and CAD/CAM's diversity.The thesis mainly carries out the research and development of the control system for high-speed CNC leather cutter, including the whole project design, the detailed design of the software system and the hardware system, the realization of the project and so on.Chapter one analyzes the problems of domestic leather-process industry at present, brings up the research subject of this thesis according to the research situation, then based on the detailed solving methods, expatiates on the main contents of this paper, and determines the structure of the paper.Chapter two introduces the whole project design of high-speed CNC leather cutter. Based on the functional requirement of high-speed leather cutter, this paper designs the hardware and software of the CNC system of leather cutter which provides a foundation for the following hardware and software development of the control system.Chapter three is about hardware design of control system of high-speed CNC leather cutter. It introduces the hardware construction of the CNC system and the functional characteristics of Galil controller, determines the type of the Servo controller according to the kinetic model, gives an account of the vacuum producing methods and selects the type of the vacuum units in order to fix the leather's position, finally introduces the control's way of the pneumatically actuated lifting cutter frame system in detail.Chapter four is about the control system's software design of the high-speed CNC leather cutter. Firstly, makes a requirement analysis for the control system software; then gives an account of some functional modules such as files management, DXF interface, drawing, NC codes producing and process following; at last, make a path optimization which includes optimum of the processing path and non-processing path in order to improve the cutting speed.Chapter five introduces the functions realization of the control system of the high speed CNC leather cutter, and carries out some related experiments by using the cutter in order to validate the system's functions; the results show that the cutter can meet the expected functional requirements.The last chapter is the conclusion and the expectation, the review of the projects and the ideas that need be improved in future are discussed.
