The textile printing wastewater is difficulty to be degraded by organism , and it has high concentrations of COD, chroma, pH. The printing and dyeing wastewater recycling is necessity trend because that the pollutant emission is limited , and the shortage of water resource is growing more serious. Although recycling has been studied in china in recent years. For example, it is used as the ash ejecting water of wet dust extraction, or landscaping and washing terrace. But the level of wastewater reuse is lower. It is most important that the wastewater is be reused in the process of production. This will save more water resources and reduce the total wastewater discharge.This paper selects "hydrolytic acidification - A/B/C aeration tank - biochemical setting tank - biofilter - 'yalv' system" as recycling technology. The experiment showed that the technology is feasible and fruitful for treatment of cotton textile printing and dyeing wastewater. And the experiment includes that the removal rate of COD and turbidity is 75.9-81.6%, 83.7-90.9%, and the effluent chroma also comes upl6-24, and the decolored rate has reached over 83.3%. As the same time, through dyeing experiments this paper has proved that the recycling water possess good characters. And that is feasible to use it as for the production process of dyeing and finishing.According to the experiment results, the paper introduces detailed technological design, investment budget calculation and economic analysis. All the investment of this project is RMB2303100, and that will save RMB7008000 if we use the recycling technology. Finally, through the comparison of several desalination process, this paper has determined initially that the RO desalination process is suitable for this project. The process improvement achieves favorable profit of enviroment and economy. As the same time, we have much valuable experience which we can apply to the treatment and recycling of printing and dyeing wastewater.
