Due to the controll-released properties of microencapsulated disperse dyes,they can be used to dye PET in the absence of auxiliaries. As a modern color matching tool,the computer color measuring & matching systems show excellent performances.Though various computer color measuring & matching systems have existed today,the related information about microencapsulated disperses' color systems cannot be found till now.In this thesis,the microencapsulated disperse dyes were applied in measuring & matching system and the optimum combination were selected.C.I.disperse red 73,C.I.disperse yellow 211 and C.I.disperse blue 183,which are generally used in the dyeing factories,were chosen to be microencapsulated.The ratios of the core to wall were changed during the course of microencapsulation in order to control the release rate of the disperse dyestuff.Meanwhile,the related dyeing properties of the microencapsulated disperse dyes were studied respectively,such as the dyeing curves,the first-dyeing rates,the dyeing leveling and the build up. Based on the results,the related dyeing properties were changed with the ratios of the core to wall.The optimum combination of the microencapsulated disperse dyes for color combination dyeing in the absence of auxiliaries was selected out.The combination was accepted to black,and compared to the commercial disperse dyes.The related dyeing effects of the combination were good,such as leveling,dry and wet fastness to rubbing.The combination was applied in different dyeing condition.Dye uptake,residual dyes in microencapsulates and dye baths were investigated respectively.The results show that the useage amounts of microencapsulated disperse dye are small,they can be used in absence of auxiliaries,the dyeing time is short and the residual dye bath is clean.Datacolor SF600PSUS measuring & matching apparatus was applied to establish a measuring & matching system.The process could be carry out as following;each of the optimum combination was dyed with different concentration to prepare basis samples; every dyes' concentration was input; color parameters such as K/S,L*,a*,b* and so on were measured; the basic database was established; the basic database was checked by observing the curve of reflection value R and wavelength λ,the curve of K/S and dye concentration C,the curve of K/S andλ,the curve of Log(K/S)and LogC; and the datas were used to measure and match.The results show that color measuring and matching for dyeing PET with microencapsulated disperse dye can be performance after making the basic database.The three kinds of microencapsulated dyes which were chosen can be used for the color measuring & matching system.The color measuring & matching system depends on the dyes' properties,therefor the system's limits can be solved by adding other dyes to completely achieve computer color measuring & matching. Furthermore,some other factors can also reduce the system's nicety in practice,such as intensity and type of the dyes,dyeing condition, pretreatment of materials,layers of the textiles,instrument errors,textiles' dyeing behaviour and so on.For ensuring accuracy of color measuring & matching system,above factors should be controlled.In order to study on the dyeing dynamics of the microencapsulated disperse dyes in PET dyeing without auxiliaries,the microencapsulated disperse dyes,pure disperse dyes and conventional disperse dyes were used to implement parallel experiment.The diffusion coefficient D and diffusion rateνwere measured by means of Film Doll Method; the dyeing velocity k,equilibrium dyeing percentage C∞and half-dyeing time t1/2were obtained by setting up the dyeing dynamic model.The results show that microencapsulating the disperse dyes would lead to the disperse dyes' diffusion coefficient D and diffusion rateνvarying a little, while the dyeing velocity k and half-dyeing time t1/2varing a lot.
