Ligusticum Chuanxiong Hort.is one of Chinese traditional drugs with the function of promoting flow of Qi and Blood and removing wind for stopping pain.As a drug,it can be traced back to Shen Nong Ben Cao Jing.Ligusticum Chuanxiong Hort.is distributed extensively in our country,especially in Sichuan province,and its resource is abundant.In this paper,the Ligusticum Chuanxiong Hort. was used as study material and its polysaccharide was studied in the following respects,extraction technologies and decolorization technologies.The main experiment results were as follows:1,Polysaccharide in Ligusticum Chuanxiong Hort.extraction technique by hot-waterUsing both the single factor experiment and the orth0gonal experiment,The optimum parameters for hot-water extraction method were temperature 100℃, extraction time 120 minutes,ratio of liquid to raw material 10mL:1g,extraction times 3.2,Polysaccharide in Ligusticum Chuanxiong Hort.decolorization technique(1)Activated carbon decolorization method:The optimum parameters for activated carbon decolorization method were activated carbon dosage 3%,pH3.5,decolorization time 60 minutes,normal temperature and decolorization times 4.Under this condition,the decolorization rate was 91.1%,the polysaccharide reserved was 63.8%.During the experiment,one headachy problem was the activated carbon was combined with polysaccharide,and it is difficult to get away.(2)H2O2 decolorization method:The optimum parameters for H2O2 decolorization method were H2O2 dosage 0.5%,decolorization method temperature 60℃and decolorization time 5 hours.Under this condition,the decolorization rate was 25.4%,the polysaccharide reserved rate was 85.5%.(3)Macroporous resin decolorization method:The decolorizing effects of crude polysaccharide in Ligusticum Chuanxiong Hort.by 7 different macroporous resins were studied in this paper.From decolorization rate and polysaccharide reserved rate,the order is:S-8>D301T>Yiben>>BS-Ⅱ>LS-8>>D296,D140.The above results show that the S-8 is suitable for decolorization,and its velocity of flow is 2~3BV/h,ratio of raw material to liquid 0.25g/mL.Under this condition,the decolorization rate was 91.3%,the polysaccharide reserved rate was 90.1%.So S-8 is suitable for decolorization of polysaccharide in Ligusticum Chuanxiong Hort.in practice.
