Recently high-speed machining is one of hotspot,the appearance of high-speed machining provides new requirement for large gantry machining center structure parts design.Traditionary gantry machine commonly adopt old design structure that have traverse workbench and stationary beam,and it is difficult for tradition machine tool to process with high speed because beam parts have large quality.High bridge type gantry machining center adopt traverse beam parts and stationary workbench, overcome the insufficient that traditionary gantry machine is not fit for development of modern high-speed machining.High bridge type gantry machining center have powerful vitality,but put forward higher claims to beam parts structure design.Combined with DF5020 high bridge type gantry machining center,the topic study beam parts of machining center in order to improve parts structure rigidity, diminish its quality and machining vibration.Firstly the paper establishes physical model of DF5020 machining center beam parts in 3D SolidWorks software,and disposes of machine joint surface.Especially rolling guide of beam parts is simplified by adopting equal diameter column instead of a row of ball,and then define joint surface in COSMOSWorks.The paper simulate working condition of DF5020 high bridge type gantry machining center,and build a simple experimental platform to carry on similarity experimental verification study of joint surface of machining center.Through contrast analyse between experiment result and emulation result of experimental platform,feasibility of the method of dealing with joint surface of machining center beam parts is verified.According to design standards manual of high bridge type machining tool,the paper analyse static and dynamic characteristics of DF5020 machining center beam parts,find out the parts that have the worse rigidity and easily produce cutting vibration for example beam and spindle box.The paper puts forward improved measure according to design deficiency of spindle box.The paper adopts contrast of four type stiffened plate,sensitivity and optimization design to redesigns beam structure of DF5020 machining center.Finally the paper bring forward a new type beam structure design conceivation-cambered beam structure with pretightening force.The study result of paper not only provide new method for dealing with joint surface of large gantry machining tool,but also be put into practical machining tool production,and exert active action to improve technical levels of correlative product design.
