| The air pollution is one of the serious problems that concern human society survival and development in the 21st century.It is rather important to treat organic waste gas in the air pollution control. Absorption is the most economical,convenient and well-developed among other treatment methods. In the absorption process, the gas solubility in the solvent plays a key role on removal efficiency and operation price.The treatment of organic waste gases with Sodium citrate absorbent was studied in this paper for the first time. We systematically investigated the influence of operational variables on absorption efficiency, such as the inlet concentration of absorbed hydrocarbon, the pH value, the air volume,the absorption temperature, the different, size packing and different inlet concentration of air. Through the variance analysis of experimental data, we established optimal operation conditions, which can provide basic data and technical parameter for the industrialization of the treatment of the organic waste gases.The main results of experimental research are as follows:(1)Sodium citrate can absorb organic waste gases very well.The absorption efficiency of benzene is greater than 84.01%. The absorption efficiency of tuluene is greater than 82.97%. And the absorption efficiency of dimethyl benzene can reach 86.2%.So sodium citrate is a favorable absorbent for these waste gases.(2)The conclusions are obtained in the experiment. The higher of the sodium citrate,the better of the absorption efficiency; When the pH value between 7-8 the absorption efficiency is the best; The smaller of the air volune, the better absorption efficiency; The higher of temperature the worst absorption efficiency, the lower of the temperature ,the better absorption efficiency; The smaller of packing, the better absorption efficiency; With the increased concentration of air, the better the efficiency of absorption, but the absorption efficiency is decrease when the air volume in a certain level of concentration(3)From the analysis of experiment result, we can obtain the optimal operate conditions. When the Sodium citrate concentration is 5%, temperature is 10℃, pH value is 8 ,air concentration is 400mg/L,the absorption efficiency is best.Not only the technology has the advantages of other technologies of the simultaneous desulfurization and byproduct reuse. The denitrification, but also there are the economic returns by the study is very significance. |
