In order to release the deficient situation of mineral resources, expand the application area of biomass materials and enhance its using value, we carry out the research of the Giant reed liquefaction in phenol with acid as catalyzer. Discussed the effect of liquefaction factors on liquification efficiency. The factors include: liquid ratio, the dosage of catalyst, liquefaction temperature, liquefaction time. Besides, this study researched the foaming technology of the liquefied Giant reed resin. Discussed the effect of foam factors on the capability of cellular foam which included filler, Foaming agent, Firming agent, temperature and time. The results are as follows:1. The better liquefaction condition of Giant reed liquefaction in phenol with Sulfuric acid as catalyzer is:Liquid ratio is 4, the dosage of Sulfuric acid is 8%, liquefaction temperature is 180℃, and liquefaction time is 2h. And the liquefaction efficiency will be more than 95% in this situation which was proved by the confirmatory experiment . For all the liquefaction factors, the order of the effect significant degree for liquefied is: Liquid ratio, the dosage of Sulfuric acid, liquefaction temperature, liquefaction time.2. We can know that the chemical constituent of Giant reed react with phenol through FTIR. The constituent of Giant reed has some change in chemical constitution. The aromatic ring and adjugate carbonyl increased remarkably. The most of lignin was resolved in liquefied residue. The liquid Giant reed get more functional group, and obtain stronger reactivity.3. The better liquefaction condition of Giant reed liquefaction in phenol in the presence of Sulfuric acid and phosphoric acid is:Liquid ratio is 4, the dosage of Sulfuric acid is 4%, the dosage of Phosphoric acid is 2%, liquefaction temperature is 140℃, liquefaction time is 2h. The liquefaction efficiency will be about 95% in this situation. For all the liquefaction factors, the order of the effect significant degree for liquefied is: Liquid ratio, the dosage of Sulfuric acid, liquefaction temperature, liquefaction time, the dosage of Phosphoric acid.4. Through the test of strength/density of Giant reed Liquefaction resin foam, we got the better foaming technology condition: the dosage of filler is 10%, the dosage of foaming agent is 10%, the dosage of firming agent is 5%, temperature is 130℃, and time is 3.5h. For all the factors, the order of the effect significant degree for foam is: temperature, the dosage of filler, the dosage of firming agent, the dosage of foaming agent, time.
