Two kinds of systems heavy-duty coatings which can film at low-temperature (-10℃~-20℃)were invented with CR resin and HPE resin as Basic Materia, and Iron Oxide,Talc Powder,Titanium Dioxide,Bentonite as pigment, and adding DBP and Tung oil as additives.CR resin and HPE resin as resin which are modified by Cl , the contents of Cl are more than more than 60%. With the great polar C-Cl bonds, the bonds of the polymer film have great impactance , drying quickly, resistanting to climate change, filming under low temperature.Following temperature reducing, the coating viscosity will increase. At the same time slowing down the speed of solvents volatile, coatings drying time increase, thus seriously affecting the construction performance of coatings. In this paper, considering the coating viscosity at low temperature,drying time, changes in the amount of solvent and used mixed solvents, add driers, select the appropriate coating additives,change aspects of the formula ,the viscosity of the coating, drying time as approaching the construction requirements of paint.Two systems anti-corrosion performance were studied by Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) and polarization spectroscopy. Corrosion electrochemical brhavior of CR and HPE systems in 10%H2SO4,10%HCl,10%NaOH solution meda were studierd by EIS. Rc of two systems were differente in the early stage. And the impedance curves are similar to a slope of -1 in a straight line, the phase angle in a wide range close to 90℃, the organic coating that at this time equivalent a lot of resistance, capacitance values of small isolated. This showed that in the early stage of corrosion , two coating systems filmed under low temperature in 10 percent of the H2SO4, HCl, NaOH solution to the substrate in a very good protective properties.We alsofound anti-corrosion performance of HPE system and CR system were different in the mid stage. Polarization that coating the corrosion potential and immersion was lower than the initial trend, which is the result of electrolyte infiltration coating.
