The forming mechanism, the change of micromechanism and the technics parameters of the Xuangang low silicon sinters have been studied in this paper, by means of many sintering experiments, and the OM, SEM and EDS were also be used.Following were the main substances of this research: Influence of carbon matching for low silicon sinters, the studies of Brazil iron ore fine matching on different SiO2 contents, discuss the influence of basicity and MgO in low silicon sintering,. On the base of above studies, a series of sintering strengthen measures have been studied. At last, an conclusion has been drawn: at present material condition, on the basics of adequate carbon content, rational scheme of import iron adding, the finished product percent, reductive degree, low temperature deoxidize pulverization performance and structure of mineral phase in sinters can be improved remarkably. Accomplish the SiO2 content is 4.0 percent, basicity ought to be situated in 2.0~2.4. If basicity is higher, although the content of ferrite calcium is higher but glassiness contents is also higher , and, in the same time, amount of ateliosis cracks have appeared, because of the double sides influence of MgO for low silicon sintering , the content of MgO should be 2.0 percent at present condition, if the MgO content is excessive low, structure of mineral phase in sinters distributing is uniformity,the size of air holes are differ from each other, all of this will cause the quality of the sinters becomes more inferior, on the contrary, if the amount of MgO content is excessive high, structure of mineral phase in sinters distributing is asymmetry, air hole cracks are excessive , ferrite calcium is exiting in the shape of board and pole, intensity of the sinter is worse.On the base of above studies, rational matching ore for sintering and technical parameters are received by planning scheme of sinter and analyzing experiments. The results of this research enriched the theories of low silicon iron ore sintering, reduce the cost of refine iron, improve the economy benefit and will also play an import role in correlation scientific research.
