The coal powder can replace the coke as fuel, reducer and cementing agent, but it can't replace the important use of coke as the framework in the blast furnace.With the development of the coal powder injection technology, the coke rate is declining and the burthen of coke is rising so that the running condition in the blast furnace has many changes. As general, those changes are avail to the running of blast furnace under the condition of low coal rate. For example, enlivening the hearth and providing a effective adjust-control means. But with the raising of coal rate, disadvantageous factors are more and more obvious. Eventually they will affect the normal running of the blast furnace.
