The content of the subject is to develop a kind of equal setting equal pressuredouble-telescopic prop used in power support. The prop can solve the problem of too smallsetting and unequal pressure when the inner cylinder extends out, and it can increase thesetting load and load to roof. Two kinds of reasonable equal setting double-telescopic props are proposed in thedissertation, and they are studied from two aspects of setting and pressure. Moreover, theadaptability and feasibility of the prop to different seams are analyzed in the dissertation andthe scheme of equal setting and equal pressure is chosen at last. Additionally, the workingprinciple of the prop is also studied.Inverted piston is proposed to increase the carrying area of inner cylinder and make surethat it is equal to the carrying area of middle cylinder. By this way, the double-telescopic propcan realize equal setting and equal pressure.Detailed structures are designed, including connections, stoppers and sealings. The prop is optically designed and made strength and stability calculation, and the standardreasonable data that can make the areas equal are found. And, the data can be made as specificdesign parameters of the double-telescopic prop. And, strength of every connector is checked.Finite element analysis is done for the equal setting and equal pressure double-telescopicprop. And assembly and parts drawings are also given in the dissertation. After the above research, the adaptability of the developed equal setting and equal pressureprop to different seams is significantly strengthened, especially to mining face whose seamthickness is large and whose rockburst is high.
