Primary Study On Urban Ecological Bearing Capacity

As the study of sustainable development goes ceaselessly .sustainable developmentis experiencing from general conception and qualitative research to quantitative research transformation, and the system carrying capacity was one of the cores in researching the measures and appraises about sustainable development. as a new area of the carring capacity study,the systerm carring capacity reseach opens up the frotiner of the earring studing and having driven sustainable development science further.On the foundation of the domestic and foreign research results, this paper took the urban ecosystem as an object, unified the characteristic of a great compound urban system, used the principle of the state space method, and took the sustainable development as the regional goal.Then author established index system about the assessment of urban ecosystem carrying capacity, worked hard to devote oneself to Huai nan ecosystem carrying capacity demonstration research from 1997 to 2006.Through the study of these facets, we drew the following main conclusions:1) According to the Huai nan ecosystem characteristic, took the region sustainable development as the goal, refered related principle of establishment index system, and considered economy, society, resources and environment and so on which involves, writer constructed the index system of ecosystem carrying capacity appraisal in Huai nan.2) society subsystem carrying capacity was over-loading state from 1997 to 2006 , and it goes to worse slowly . by analysis the data,we can obtained that the major effect factors were the condition of the high level of population increaseing rate.3) Economic subsystem carrying capacity was over-loading state from 1997 to 2006 , and it goes instabilly. and it can be plot into three phases,the first phases is from 1997 to 2000, economic subsystem carrying capacity goes down guadually, the major effect factors were the condition of the amount of per capita sewage of living, the second phases is from 2001 to 2004,its collectivity tendency was on rise, the major effect factors were the condition of the rate of total investment in fixed assets. the third phases is from 2005 to 2006, its collectivity tendency goes down guadually. the major effect factors were the condition of the proportionment between light industry and heavy industry.4) Environment subsystem carrying capacity was over-loading state from 1997 to 2006 , and it goes instabilly. and it can be plot into two phases, the first phases is from 1997 to 2002, environment subsystem carrying capacity goes down guadually,the major effect factors were the condition of Pollution abatement investment percentage in GDP and commonality greenbelt Per capita.In general, the carrying capacity on the whole urban ecosystem was under-loading state in Huai nan from 1997 to 2006, and it went instabilly. in view of the special details in Huai nan , this paper suggested four aspects from science and population , economy , resource and environment region relievment to improve the carrying capacity on the whole urban ecosystem.
