A city is a compound system composed of a natural ecosystem and human economic society.In this system,human as a large population,are interdependent and inseparable from the natural ecological environment.China's current urban construction speed has gradually slowed down,and more attention is paid to the quality of urban construction,based on the construction of ecological cities and the optimization of the national spatial pattern.The rational and even benign development of the city are based on the coordinated operation of resources,environment and social economy.Resource carrying capacity and environmental carrying capacity are the topics that must be considered when studying urban ecological construction.Current theoretical research on resource carrying capacity and environmental carrying capacity always blurs the concepts of "resources" and "environment",and discusses resource environmental carrying capacity together;or simply understand that environmental carrying capacity is "environmental capacity".Failure to systematically consider the natural attributes of the environment Moreover,most of the existing research on environmental carrying capacity assessment is also aimed at cities with established construction scale,and the lack of research on environmental carrying capacity before urban development and construction makes the environmental carrying capacity inadequate for the guidance of urban development intensity and management decisions.From the perspective of urban construction,before the regional development,if you do not consider the development intensity that the ecological background can bear,only the economic orientation will determine the scale of completion,which will lead to a large amount of capital investment for ecological maintenance and sustainable development,after the city is built.In this regard,this paper proposes to study the urban environmental carrying capacity based on the ecosystem service function,establish the coupling relationship between the ecosystem and social economic development.And then,have more systematically and deeply research on the theoretical concept and evaluation model of urban ecological environmental carrying capacity,the details including:(1)Combined with the changes in the ecological environment around the world,theemergence of urban ecological problems and related policy guidelines in China.Explain the necessity of ecosystem services in the study of urban environmental issues.(2)Analysis of domestic and foreign scholars' research results on environmental carrying capacity and ecosystem services.And based on the concept and structure of the ecosystem and urban environment,summarize and supplement the correlation between the both sides.And put forward the coupling relationship of "balance" and "takeover".(3)Comparison and analysis of the evaluation system development of environmental carrying capacity in domestic and foreign research.In view of the current urban construction status and development needs in China,put forward the theoretical model and evaluation method of urban environmental carrying capacity based on ecosystem service function suitable for this study The evaluation index system constructed in this study is based on the ecological balance theory,comprehensively compare the current status of ecosystem services and urban construction from the relationship of supply and demand to guide the city's further development planning.(4)Take a county in Guangdong Province as a specific case.Through field surveys and related data collection and consultation,select representative and highly available indicators.Threshold evaluation of its urban environmental carrying capacity through the evaluation model established above.The results show that the current utilization rate of ecosystem services in the county is low,and the development potential within the urban ecological environment carrying capacity is large.According to the evaluation results obtained,combined with the current situation of the ecological environment in the study area,make suggestions and prospects for development and construction and sustainable development in the region according to local conditions.
