Diosgenin wastewater comes from the Process of Producing turmeric element, which is composed of waste mixture liquid of distillation and hydrolyzing(under acid or basic condition)and washing wastewater.Through investigating technology of diosgenin and analyzing water quality of Diosgenin wastewater,we find that diosgenin wastewater is belong to high concentrations of organic wastewater,low acidity,it has the colourity of thick brown,and its component is complex,that it contains much tunneric ramification,which is difficult degradable surfactant,and it is quite difficult to be treatment.The process of Diosgenin wastewater treatment is very complex,its facility need large investment,So now there is no mature diosgenin wastewater treatment technology.This paper research for Fenton reagent treatment diosgenin wastewater.Fenton reagent is a advanced chemical oxidation technology,Commonly used in treatment of difficult degradation organic compounds to remove COD,colority and foam pollutants. Diosgenin wastewater has a very good COD removal and decolorizing by Fenton reagent oxidation.The experiment finds that pH of solution,dosage of Fe2+,dosage of H2O2 and the way of join it,and reaction time are the most important fact effect the speed of Fenton reagent oxidation greatly.The thesis also studied the UV-Fenton reagent treatment diosgenin wastewater. The experiment finds that the introduction of UV into Fenton system can improve color removal and COD removal,accelerate the reaction rate,shorten reaction time, and H2O2 dosage less about 25%than it was added in Fenton oxidation reaction.We also researched layer thickness,the influent COD concentration impact on UV-Fenton reagent oxidation.With the statistical analysis to the disposal curve of COD removal from UV-Fenton treatment in different conditions,the experience mathematics model was set up,in which the H2O2 dosage,pH value,Fe2+dosage and reaction time are effective factors.
