As the development of social economic and the sharp increase of population, the demand for water of men increases as well. At meantime, available water resource tends to reduce quickly because of the impertinent use and serious pollution. Now the water resource crisis has become an important environment problem in policy, economic and technology that all countries are facing. The crisis will grow more and more severe so the prospect is worried. In order to resolve this water shortage of cities, we must actively research the problem of turning polluted water into available resource and improve the reuse ratio of polluted water as well as we should save water resource and father the polluted water to realize the persistent use of water. The reuse of polluted water means that the polluted water of industry and lives reuses in agriculture, industry and city projects as feed water after procession. It's the direct measure of mutating the polluted water into useful resource and using water resource efficiently.Xuzhou is a city with serious water resource shortage. Pollution and water shortage have limited its economic growth and social development. Therefore, it is very significant to use the water resource effectively and sustainablly.In this paper the tail water reusing project of Jinmahe sewage treatment plant in Xuzhou was discussed.Finally, another two waste water reuse programmes (Sanbahe and Kuihe sewage treatment plant) were analyzed, and the key problems related to waste water reuse in Xuzhou were disccussed.
