Rubber is a kind of viscoelastic material, rubber element's working performance major on dampping vibrating system and absorbing various frequency of vibration, so rubber elements in engineering are widely used. However there is no qualitative and quantitative calculations for the rubber element's performance parameters, particularly the dynamic characteristics, due to the influence of compound formulations,shape structure,temperature,vibration frequency,amplitude and other factors, the the element characteristics are different. With the research and development of isolation,noise and vibration damping,shock vibration isolation technology, the research and application of rubber materials and products become more deeply and widely. Therefore accurately master and exert the dynamic characteristics of rubber is the key to obtain a excellent result.This paper introduces the study on measuring system for dynamic characteristic of rubber based on virtual instrument. According to the dynamic characteristics of rubber testing requirements, bulit a test-bed and designed a measuring system, which has the abilities of collection, analysis and processing, has been designed for non-linear characteristic of rubber. By which the real-time processing of experiment data and the visualization of result can be achieved. The error can be automatically amended during the process of data processing, so the reliability of experiment result can be enhanced. The dynamic experimental signal of hyper-elastic rubber material was collected by high-speed data acquisition device of DAQPad-6070E. The dynamic links of analyzing system and collected data was built via IEEE1394. Then the powerful module function was implemented to deal and analyze the collected data, obtain real experimental dynamics characteristic curve and parameters.The measuring system can gain a series of relevant dynamic characteristics parameters through the frequency comparative vibration test, amplitude comparison vibration test, conditional temperature contrast test. Therefore, the present work will be an important foundation for investigating the dynamic characteristic of rubber. are, dynamic characteristics of rubber for further study provided technical basis.
