The coking industrial is continuously progressed with repid expansion of the rion and steel in Chian. Chian has become the bigest country of coke manufacture。The air is severely polluted by the H2S in coking-gas in recent years, and it is disadvantageous for the continuable progress of coking plant。So, it is imperative that the H2S and HCN in coking-gas are purified.In order to solve the problem of air polltion in chief town the Chongqing Iron & Steel Company Limited (CISC) will move to Changshou district, and it's production yield will extend. So, the reliable process of COG(coke-oven gas) desulphurization must be selected. The shortage and amelioration for the existing HPF desulphurization technology of COG at the Coking Plant of CISC have been researched. The principle of process, major poblem, investment, run cost, level of environmental protection,It do a comparative analysis on, investment, production leverof annulus, production quality, vendition situation and technology advance have been roundly compared. The process plan for desulphurization of COG at the Coking Plant of CISC has been obtained, and it can alleviate the effetion of the pollution on air.The vacuum carbonate desulphurization process is a kind of new wet absorption technique of gas purification since 1990s. The utilization effects are showed that the system has the advantages over simple operation, stable running, high automation level, good operating environment, better quality of sulfur and no three wastes. Its desulfurization eficiency is reached up to 99%, HCN removal efficiency 86%,and sulfur purity is 99.7%. It can satisfied the demand of gas purification for new region of CISC.The desufurization process of the vacuum carbonate–Topsoe process producing vitriol will be adopted in the new region of CISC. It not only can achieve the aim to the H2S permissve guide, but also can clear up the effect of H2S in COG on mass of product. This technology could be brought about the favourable economic benfit and environmental benfit.
