Studying on the manufacturing process of Jinji Tablet, this paper using the orthogonal method and the single factor method and using the Protocatechuic Acid of the Jinji tablet as evaluating indicator .The results as the followings:1. The liquid yield of the compression extraction is higher than the common extraction when the material is extracted.the results: 8.7%, 5.4%.2. The optimum extracting time and solvent is 2 h and 8 times water when the material is extracted.3. The optimum condition is 70% Ethanol(V/V), 12 h, 0.4 g·ml-1 when the liquid is sinked and purified by ethanol, and the efficiency of the solid yield is the maximal,the result: 46.2%.4. Comparing to the effect of edulcoration (3kinds of natural flocculant: the Chitosan, the ZTC1+1, the Fruit juice) to the liquid and discoverying their effect is close, and the Chitosan is slightly superior and suits the industrialization production,5. As time-saving and energy conservation, three effect vacuums concentration is superior to one effect atmospheric pressure concentration when the liquid will be concentrated, the result is respective 17 min, 42 min.6. Comparing to vacuum-drying and atmospheric pressure dry, the content of Protocatechuic acid is higher by the vacuum-drying, the result: 0.7895 mg·g-1.This article, studying on extracting, edulcorating, concentrating, drying, as well as quality controlling , has laid the foundation for the Jinji tablet industrialization production, has made the beneficial exploration for the new craft and the new technology application in the Chinese patent medicine.
