Pueraria Tablet Preparation Process And Quality Standards Is A Preliminary Study

Objective:To study the extraction and tablet process of Gegentang,prepare a Gegentang Tablet with small dose,and establish its initial quality standards.Methods:(1) In accordance with the role of every Chinese herbal in Gegentang, its active ingredient or total ingredient as index,single factor investigation and orthogonal design was used to optimization the extracting process with water and purifying process with macroporous resin of Gegen,Baishao,Mahuang,Gancao, Dazao;orthogonal design was used to optimization the extracting process of Guizhi and Shengjiang's volatile oil by steam distillation.(2) Single factor investigation was used to select the tablet excipients commonly used,and then prepare the gross tablet of Gegentang.(3) To establish the initial quality standards of Gegentang Tablet,including identification means of ervery Chinese herbal in Gegentang by TLC and determination means of Puerarin and Ephedrine in Gegentang Tablet.Results:(1) The best process condition of Gegen,Baishao,Mahuang,Gancao, Dazao extracting with water and purifying with macroporous resin was optimized, and the best process condition of Guizhi and Shengjiang's volatile oil extracting by steam distillation was optimized.After purified,the paste-forming rate was respectively reduced,which is good for the preparation of table upcoming.(2)The tablet process of Gegentang Tablet was identified,tablet prepared weighs 0.6g every tablet,and its dose was 2 times a day for each two,which greatly reducing the dose.Essential achieved the desired purpose of the experiment.(3) The identification means of ervery Chinese herbal excetpt Dazao in Gegentang by TLC and the determination means of Puerarin and Ephedrine in a same HPLC condition were established,which were feasible and stable.Each Gegentang Tablet containing Puerarin 75.20 mg and ephedrine 32.70 mg.Referencing the limited content in Pharmacopoeia,the initial content standard of Gegentang Tablet was each tablet containing Puerarin more than 48.1 mg and ephedrine moer than 23.2 mg.Conclusion:The extracting and purifying process of Gegentang Tablet was feasible,the tablet prepared had a small dose,and its quality controlling means was stable and reliable.The desired experiment aim of this study was essential achieved.
