In surface mining, the cost of transportation and energy accounts for the majority of mining cost. Optimal vehicle dispatch is the most effective method to reduce non-production time and improve production efficiency. Vehicle scheduling is a complex optimization problem, and most of the existing methods are based on the certainty of information and cannot effectively solve this problem.First, several common vehicle scheduling models are mentioned according to the mission, target and system function requirement of dispatch work. Then Anshan Mine Company is taken for example, the vehicle scheduling model is established after completely analyzing all the constraint conditions. Based on this vehicle scheduling model, single objective and multi-objective vehicle scheduling fuzzy model are respectively established by analyzing some critical fuzzy factors and they are analyzed by fuzzy optimization algorithm. Fuzzy optimization model is demonstrated by examples.In the process of fuzzy optimization analysis for vehicle scheduling model, single objective fuzzy optimization algorithm is firstly studied. Fuzzy linear programming algorithm with fuzzy coefficients is elaborately studied. A new algorithm with triangle fuzzy coefficients is introduced based on previous results. This algorithm has fewer constraints and can be easily solved. Then for classical multi-objective linear programming, compromise algorithm, max-min fuzzy algorithm and two phases fuzzy algorithm are studied. At last, fuzzy optimization algorithm of multi-objective fuzzy linear programming with fuzzy number is studied.In the end of this paper, the vehicle scheduling system of surface mine is analyzed and designed, and the program of vehicle scheduling is carefully developed. The intelligence and automation of mine vehicle scheduling is implemented and the science and information process of transportation department is promoted.
