In the cold rolling manufacturing, the shape of the strip is still a complex and difficult problem. Until now, it is a available medium that load bending force on the working roller which can improve the strip shape. Using numerical simulation method and based on software ANSYS/LS-DYNA, A elastoplasticity FEM model simulating banding force and strip rolling was constructed in this paper.. Therefore , we can offer theory reference for reasonable bending force choosing.Fist of all, we investigated the evolvement about the theoretics of strip shape and adjust resource and rolling simulations. And then, based on the elastoplasticity FEM theory ,we constructed several FEM model of different width with ANSYS/LS-DYNA, by changing the magnitude of the bending force, educed the effect rule of the bending force for the strip and working roller. This FEM model used explicit dynamics arithmetic because of the model which considered the geometric nonlinearity ,the material nonlinearity and the contact aspects in the rolling process is full of complex. The findings shows that to simulation rolling process in this way is feasible. Finally, we gained the simulation results and after contrastive analysis, presented the influence rules of the bending force , and presented believable bending force value .Compared with the fact instance in the production , the simulation results is close to it, and so , the model is very trustiness. This research method is very helpful for the designs in this field and the expand approach.
