Growth And Physical Peoperties Of Large Size And High Quality Nd:YAG Layer Crystal

The crystal of Nd:YAG is one of the applied the most extensive laser crystals. the crystal of Nd:YAG is good material which optical uniformity, mechanical properties, chemical stability and thermal conductivity aspects. Comparative other crystals, the crystal of Nd:YAG which is in high miscellaneous density has the long fluorescence life span,high thermal transmit rate,bigger absorption coefficient and so on.The laser crystal which large size, high quality and high efficiency is main development direction about solid laser material. So the cubic system Nd:YAG single crystals have been grown by Czochralski method. The best condition of Nd:YAG crystals for growth by Middle Frequency Induction Heat Czochralski method. The best condition had been research by us and based on the research, we explain the spectrum character in detail from the X-ray diffracting spectrum,absorption spectrum,fluorescence spectrum and infrared spectrum. Meanwhile , the crystal defects were studied by optical method and chemical etching method. In the end, this paper prospect future research.
