Parker's hydraulic power trim is the complete introduction Parker US technology in the domestic manufacture, assembly power unit system. It is the micro-external gear pump that the key component of the system, which the speed may reach 3,700 Rpm, the instantaneous pressure may reach 35 MPa as well as the addendum circle diameter only has 14 mm. Simultaneously it also plays an important role in the first pass quality of the product. At present, this system in the domestic Parker's first pass quality rate is about 75%. Through the experimental study, the main reason is the"Up at Load"which may not meet the requirements of the pump performance. This article is based on the study of the flow impact affected by the tolerance of gear's parameter. Studying from the principle of external gear pump, it integrates the fundamental research and the experiment, establishes the flow mathematical model. It also has utilized the orthogonality condition, computer simulation as well as the genetic algorithms. The study has optimized the tolerance of the gear's parameter and improved the first pass quality rate.
