Coal washery is an important manufacturing process of the coal enterprises and steam power plant. Its function is to transport the raw coal, which has been disposed by screening and crushing machinery, to required craft position by the belt transport equipment. Owing to the deficiency of effective dust removal machine and the defect of dust removal system in existence, great amount of dust are produced in the dry coal transiting process because of impaction,falling and vibration. For the moment, the discharges of dust in coal conveyance system of our country exceed the stipulated standards seriously. Generally speaking, a coal washery without reconstruction contains a dust amount as high as 200-4000mg/m~3.Focusing on this practical engineering problem and by researching on some relative enterprises, this article intends to describe the dust generation mechanism, diffusion rules, control technology of dust by means of theoretical analysis and numerical simulation in coal washery, and put forward a comprehensive plan of dust control which takes bag filter as main dust removal equipment, and make an optimal design of air delivery and positioning, to realize the optimal control of dust.Considering the complex local environment as well as the bad working conditions and combining with remote surveillance techniques and PLC techniques, this research designs an automatic monitoring system which takes industrial Ethernet as networking form. Moreover, it designs an upper monitor control system for filter based on MCGS (Monitor and Control Generated System) software. Through user-friendly interfaces, the system monitors the remote operation and running state of the dispersed dust removal equipments.Conclusion demonstrated that the research achievements in this paper provide a set of synthetical application which includes design, analyses, industrial automation and upper-supervision. Application of this technology can not only enable seriously polluted coal preparation plant reach national emission standard, but also can realize remote operation and status monitoring of on-site dispersed dust removal equipment. Finally, a practical experimental system is put up in this paper and the system is proved to be reliable and stable through the field tests. The original design intentionof this paper is fulfilled.
