| The research analyzes the definition of eco-system and eco-system principles. Eco-system is a unit that has integrity border. There are different drivers among different scale in structure, pattern and evolvement. The service function is the property of eco-system. Regionalization which is based the analysis the space distribution, eco-service function and economic function is geography sub-area. It has direct relationship among eco-system management, eco-system planning and area economic exploitation. Regionalization is base unit of effective area eco-system management. Follow economic, society and eco-system sustainable development, the research analyze each regionalization of eco–function and materials made by government of Kaifeng city on long–term planning and its own situation of nature ,society and economic, based on the data of ARCGIS data procession and analysis interface, unites the land utilization, vegetation and related social economic data. The process of regionalization concentrates not only on integrity of topographic, but also on function relation between different eco–system and features of social economic, made the regionalization more comprehensive, objective and practicable.The Study used information collection and ecological mapping and other means to investigate and analyse and evaluate regional environmental status, used mathematical methods and ecological mapping to evaluate the ecological environment sensitivity, used the method of qualitative analysis to analyse and evaluate ecosystem services , used space overlay graphics to generate ecological functions of the District as ARCGIS to a analysis platform, used the method of system analysis to descripte every ecological function district and produce protection programme of countermeasure.Based on the ecological function regionalization theory, the step is that first analyzes and evaluates the comparability and discrepancy among eco–system present situation, sensitivity of eco–environment, importance of eco–system service and social development, then forms a serial of evaluation paragraph on the same scale. Secondly, the eco-function regionalization is completed super incumbently based on the classification system or combined from bottom to top adopting the method of space super position, relativity analysis, etc. Based the area physiognomy, comparability reason and area discrepancy, we divided city of Kaifeng into two areas .One is special ecological function region, includes reserve of city water of plain wo river in Kaifeng, reserve of source water of plain wo river and south four lake in Kaifeng, and windbreak and sand fixation area of plain shayin river, wo river and south four lake in Kaifeng. The other is well ecological function region, include reserve of wet land of plain of Yellow river downstream and city landscape of plain wo river in Kaifeng. We describe the nature and geography, climate, type of eco-system and eco-function, environment problem in ecological function region, reason, protective aim, protective measure. Though the analysis of regionalization, it can define the structure, course and character of space distribution of space of the type of eco–system of city of Kaifeng, and forward the main eco–environmental problem, reason and its space distribution pattern accordingly .it also evaluates the eco–service function of different eco–systems and its effect on regional social economic development puts forward its distribution character and high–sensitivity division of regional eco–environment and proposal of eco-function regionalization, eco-environment of different eco-function areas and its social economics function, direction of development and know-how to management.Finally, we built up a space and geographic frame for city of Kaifeng on general management of construction of eco-city, optimized setup and rationalization of resources and economics development, and protection of eco-environment. Meanwhile, a basic GIS database of eco–function regionalization of city of Kaifeng has been built up and we offer suggestion about the regionalization of city of Kaifeng, included absorption and utilization the latest ecological knowledge, establish management system which aim to protect the ecosystem long-term ability that can provide products and services t, the define division units and determine the criteria for zoning boundary, protect the ecological function region flexibly, control human activities and ecological testing and strength law enforcement efforts. This study provided the a geographical space framework of the integrated management for the protection of the ecological environment, the optimal allocation of resources , rational use , socio-economic development in Kaifeng City and established basic GIS databases of ecological function regionalization of the Kaifeng City and provided recommendations of ecological function programme in Kaifeng City.Is important to protect, constructe and develop the ecological functions of Kaifeng City and to promote regional sustainable development.
