The crankshaft is a crucial part of engine,it plays an important role of withstanding the impact load and transmission power in its work process.There are large of alternate load brought by the plunger and connecting rod for the crankshaft in each working stroke of engine.The crankshaft working condition is poor,so there are strict requirements on its materials,rough processing technology,working accuracy, dynamic balance and so on.The rough machining and semi-finishing of main journal and connecting cylinder take the relatively large proportion of man-hour in the crankshaft machining process.At present,the most advanced processing is turn-broaching for it at overseas. In domestic,turn-broaching machines completely relay on import,the technique was under the control of others,has limited the development of crankshaft processing.In view of the situation,this paper has mainly carried on the following works:(1)Do some research and analysis for the axiom of turn-broaching processing. Compare the two basic forms of it- linear and rotary turn-broaching processing.By checking the common processing at present,generalize a set of crankshaft machining process for which adopts turn-broaching processing for its main journal and connecting cylinder's rough machining and semi-finishing,and explain the key processing and matters need attention,in order to supply some suggestions for improvement of crankshaft processing.(2)Declaration the character,composition,working principle and so on for some kinds of crankshaft turn-broaching machine.According some problems occurred in machining process,do some reforms for several mechanical device,they included such points as follow:The designing of bumper pin which is in order to prevent the connecting cylinder assembled incorrect,erasing the possibility of connecting cylinder bumping the knife flywheel.The reform of allocation and clamping entity for connecting cylinder,bringing some convenient and efficiency in machining processing.The improvement of cutter relieving device,letting more efficient and stabilization when the knife flywheel relives.All the reforms expounded as before are in order to improve the crankshaft turn-broaching machine.(3)Analysis the cutting principle and general planning of turn-broaching knife flywheel,establish the mathematical model of the bit tool.Emphasize the design methodology of localization and detection for sector,and the lift rang of cutter.Induct the design manner and general method of turn-broaching knife flywheel,supply some references for introductive development.At the same time,the paper also do some reseatch and analysis of the material and thermal treatment for blank crankshaft.It is in order to improve the method and enhance the quality of crankshaft turn-broaching processing.
