Crankshaft is the key part of marine diesel , and plays important role in ship's security. As a result of heavy gravity , special material demand and high accuracy, large crankshaft is very difficult to process. Whether a nation has the capacity of manufacturing large crankshaft represents the level of equipment section .At present, only several countries such as Japan, Korea can produce large crankshaft, and they highly monopolized the crankshaft market. It's significant to strengthen the research of equipment and process technology of large crankshaft, raise the process efficiency and technical level.Aiming at high efficiency and high-precision processing problem, turn-milling technology is used in ship crankshaft machining. The feeding system of turning and milling machine was designed, and the cutting force, feeding mechanism, the performance of servo system were analyzed on the theoretical study in this paper .The main contents are as following:The working principle of turn-milling machine and process technology of large crankshaft was studied at length. There were two different kind of technological processing, cutting force was discussed. The mathematical model of coaxial turning and milling machine was built, and instant cutting force expressions was obtained. Taking the influence of cutting parameters to processing quality into account, suitable cutting parameter was selected. According to empirical formula, the practical cutting force was calculated.The mechanism of feeding system and rotary table was analyzed in theory, especially for dual-drive mechanism and coaxial hydraulic servo balance mechanism. Besides, the base bear complex force, and the finite element analysis was done in ANSYS. By changing the local structure according to the mode of vibration, the integral structure was improved. The structure of servo feeding system was simplified and the mathematical model of AC servo feeding system and machine driven system was built .The step response was simulated in matlab for the both .The results proof that the feeding system response was rapid, and running smoothly, can achieve the design requirement of feeding system...
