High-Al bronze Cu-14Al-X is an excellent corrosion resistant and wear resistance alloy which was developed by the researchers in our laboratory.This article probe into the influence of Co,Fe on the as-cast microstructure,and corrosion resistance and behavior of the high-Al bronze.And this article also probe into the corrosion behavior of aluminum bronze Cu-14%Al-X coatings,and coatings microstructure.As-cast and coatings microstructure of high-Al bronze samples with different mass fraction of Co,Fe were observed and analyzed by MEF3,XRD and EPMA,etc. The results indicated that:to the different contents of Co element of as-cast alloys, microstructure of all the alloys consist ofβ′+γ2+K phases,to the different contents of Fe element of as-cast alloys,microstructure of all the alloys consist ofβ′+γ2+K+αphases,and the microstructure of the coatings consist ofβ′+γ2+K phases.The corrosion resistance and behavior of the high-Al bronze Cu-14%Al-X with different mass fraction of Co,Fe element in 3.5%NaCl solution were investigated by using Static Immersing Corrosion test,scanning electron microscope (SEM),EPMA,etc.The results show that the corrosion resistance of Cu-14%A1-X is good in 3.5%NaC1 solutions.The corrosion rate rises with the raising content of Co element first declined then increase.When the Co content of 5.5%the alloy's corrosion resistance property is the best.The corrosion rate rises with the raising content of Fe element first declined then increase.When the Fe content of 5%the alloy's corrosion resistance property is the best.In 3.5%NaC1 solution,theγ2 phase suffers a dealuminization attack superior toβ′,α,and K phases.After corrosion,the contents of Al and Mn reduce obviously,while the content of Cu increases,which shows that the high Al-bronze suffers dealuminization corrosion.The corrosion resistance and behavior of the high-Al bronze Cu-14%Al-X coatings in 3.5%NaCl,5%H2SO4,10%HCl solutions were investigated by using Static Immersing Corrosion test,scanning electron microscope(SEM),EPMA,etc.The results indicated that the corrosion resistance of Cu-14%Al-X coatings is good in3.5%NaCl,5%H28O4,10%HCl solutions.Also the coatings suffers dealuminization corrosion.
