This paper prepared four acyldrazones compounds with carboxyl group from 2-hydroxybenzohydrazide,picolinohydrazide,pyridine-2,6-dicarbohydrazide and 2-(2-formylphenoxy)acetic acid,all the ligands and their metal complexes have been characterized by 1H-NMR,MS,elemental analysis,UV-vis,IR,molar conductivity and X-ray single crystal diffraction.The full-optimized molecular geometries of some ligands and complexes were calculated at B3LYP/6-31G level with Gaussian 03W program.The main research in this paper included:1.Two acyldrazones were synthesized with 2-(2-formylphenoxy)acetic acid.Their complexes with Mn(â…¡),Co(â…¡),Ni(â…¡),Cu(â…¡),Zn(â…¡)were prepared,two single crystals of complexes[(CuL1)DMSO]n,[(CuL1)(MeOH)]n were obtained in mixed solvent of ethanol/DMSO and methanol,another single crystals of polymer Cu(2,6-pda)(py)]n was obtained accidentally in mixed solvent of DMF/Pyridine.2.Propan-2-one-picolinohydrazone was synthesized with picolinohydrazide and propan-2-one.Complexes containing the ligand were prepared.One single crystal of four nucleus complex[(NiL1)4(H2O)2]was obtained in mixed solvent of methanol/acetone, and an unexpected single crystal of polymer complex[Cu(pd)2]n was obtained in mixed solvent of ethanol/DMF by solvothermal synthesis.3.2-(4-formylphenoxy)acetic acid-2-hydroxybenzohydrazone was synthesized with 2-(2-formylphenoxy)acetic acid and 2-hydroxybenzohydrazide.A single crystal of polymer complex[Cu3(Ac)2(N3)4(DMSO)2]n bridged by azido was obtained in mixed solvent of ethanol/DMSO.Property measurement:The biological activities of H2L1,H2L3,H4L4 and their complexes were analysed respectively.The results showed that they exhibit fungicidal and herbicidal activities,the biological activities of the complexes were better then the ligands;The electrochemical activities of complexes Cu(â…¡),Co(â…¡)and Ni(â…¡)were studied respectively in the solvent of methanol and DMF,the electrochemical activities of complexes were better in the solvent of DMF.
