5-Bromo-2-hydroxyphenyl benzophenone and its derivatives are important organic synthetic and medicinal intermediates, which have important applications in medicine, pesticide, plastic, liquid crystal and other industrial production.The new hydrazone ligand , condensed by 5-Bromo-2-hydroxyphenyl benzophenone hydrazide and hydrazide, It is a widely used kind of Schiff bases compounds, with excellent biological activity, non-linear optical properties and strong coordination capacity. Which has been widely studied and applied in pesticide, medicine, analysis of catalysts and other fields , and now has become a hot field.Friedel-Crafts acylation reaction is an important class of basic organic reactions, is the main reaction in synthesis of aromatic ketones. The purpose of this thesis is to make preparation of 5-bromo-2-hydroxyphenyl benzophenone and its derivatives for laboratory, as the synthesis of new hydrazone intermediate complexes.Aryl hydrazone,with strong biological activity whose metabolites were low toxicity or nontoxic, have been extensively studied in pesticide, medicine, and analytical reagents and other fields.The hydrazone Organic Physical Fitness and the transition metal elements in cells combine to form a stable chelating compounds, so that these metal-related enzymes can not replace it, thus affecting the cell body of the enzymatic reaction, inhibit many enzyme-catalyzed reaction.To further understand the character and mechanism of the transition elements coordinated with the aryl hydrazone, this chapter synthesized five kinds of new hydrazone, determined the crystal structure of hydrazone. among which the powder of salicylaldehyde benzoyl hydrazone but not the crystal structure has been reported in the literature.The tests for crystal structure of complex show that:H2L1 ligand belongs to Orthogonal, Pna2 (1) space group; H2L2, H2L3, and H2L5 ligand belongs to monoclinic, P2 (1) / n space group; H2L4 ligand belongs to triclinic Department, P-1 space group. The electrochemical activities of complexes were studied respectively in the solvent of methanol and DMF, the electrochemical activities of complexes were better in the solvent of DMF.In the mixture of methanol, DMF,dichloromethane and acetone solvents, using transition metal salts react with the hydrazone to synthesize 10 kinds of new transition metal complexes. ligand and 6 kinds of new complex single crystal were cultivated by solvent diffusion method , respectively . These complexes have been synthesized and characterized X-powder diffraction and the composition have been identified .The tests for crystal structure of complex show that: Ni-L1 and Cu-L1 complex belongs to monoclinic, P2 (1) / c space group; Ni-L2 complex belongs to monoclinic, C2 / c space group; Ni-L3 with the material belongs to monoclinic, P2 (1) / c space group; Cu-L3 complex belongs to monoclinic, P2 (1) / n space group; Zn-L4 complex belongs to monoclinic, P2 (1 ) / c space group. And the study of the structure was discussed.
