Because jet loom continuously run with high speed, the constant tension of fabric is very important and it directly affects the quality and output of fabric. If the tensile force is too big, it may reduce the product usage life. Contrarily, it may cause the fabric loose and goffered, especially affect the quality of fabric. Keeping tensile force steady is one of puzzle all the time for jet loom investigator and manufacturer. For many years, the international jet loom manufacturer, e.g. Japan Toyota, Tsudakoma and Italy Picanol, apply themselves to this field and they also got some achievement. But because of information property right, technique secrecy and manufacture cost, our jet loom production could not directly utilize these investigation. Thereby, to develop the jet loom constant tension convoluting equipment, is the only way to improve our jet loom production level.Base on above reason, we researched WG2000 jet loom made in the Jiangsu Wangong factory and analyse the constant tension equipment. Then a new improved project is come up. We use optimized design method to analyse and design the improved equipment, and establish the dynamics mode. Afterwards, we use finite element method to optimize the key component. Some research achievements already been applied in practical production.This thesis has six chapter and the main contents as bellow:Chapter 1 Summarization. Firstly, based on the introduction of domestic and overseas jet loom development, it expatiated the research meaning. Focus on constant tension convoluting equipment existent problem, we advanced the"High Speed jet loom constant tension convolute equipment optimize and improved Design"subject and establish the main research contents.Chapter 2 Project design for constant tension convoluting equipment. This chapter first analyse the original device and find its main problem, then put forward four solutions. According to the compare of four solutions, we finally established the constant tension convoluting equipment optimized and improved design plan.Chapter 3 Constant tension convoluting equipment dynamics model. This chapter firstly designed the structure and dimension for the improved equipment. Then we analyse the dynamic of equipment system and construct the dynamic model. Chapter 4 Important component thermodynamic finite element analysis. Firstly we established a two dimensional transient thermal and stress coupled FEM model, and then use the MSC. Nastran FEM software to simulate and analyse the key component .Chapter 5 Experiment research. We manufactured an experiment system and have done some experiment. Via experiment, we optimized related parameter for constant tension convoluting equipment.Chapter 6 Conclusion This chapter reviews the main contents of the thesis and makes a conclusion about it. Besides that, it points out the existing problems and tells the prospect about the theory research and the application.
