Automatic vertical drilling tool roots from German"Kontinentales Tiefbohrprogrammder Bundesrepublik Deukschland"(KTB), which is able to make a vertical hole perfectly at the high steep dip structure and reduce the cost. It is hard to produce oil in the areas by traditional technology. So our country is in urgent need of such technology. Under the circumstances, we developed our own automatic vertical drilling tool ----Automatic Anti-Deviation Drilling System (AADDS).AADDS is a kind of Automatic vertical drilling tools, which is designed and made by PetroChina Exploration & Development Research Institute (RIPED) and Wuhan University of Science and Techonology (WUST). This tool can not only make mechanic electronic and fluid together working, but also mearue the inclination by the sensor while drilling, and make the controlled stabilizer work to produce a drop force which will decrease the inclination gradually. Therefor, it will achieve the assignment of"improve the artesian well's quality, make sure to get to the goal area acurately, increase the drilling speed and reduce the cost".Automatic Anti-Deviation Drilling System is studied in this paper. First of all, it detailedly expatiate the development and status of anti-deviation and rectify-deviation in both home and abroad. And then the system structure and control principle of Automatic Anti-Deviation Drilling System are introduced. In the next, the qualitative model of steerable sleeve is built, and it's rotate speed contrasting with rib is calculated, in order to judge whether the speed can supply the system with enough power; When the ball bearing is replaced with TC bearing, the renewed result indicates that only take assistand supporting can supply enough friction, and works out that the least press of each spring in the board is 0.35KN. In the last, by using the regular finity analyzing software ANSYS, the mechanical analysis of steerable sleeve and hydraulic integration-valve is done. It is proved that the intensity and the stiffness are up to standard. This analysis is very importan to the regular operation of the Automatic Anti-Deviation Drilling System.
