On the basis of establishing the case of gas disaster and its prevention in the paper, an uncertainty study on gas accumulation in mine workface as a aspect is brought forward. Through an extensive literature search in the field of coal mine gas accumulation and handling techniques either domestic or overseas in the past, the laws of essential research of gas effuse and flow around workface topic is deficiency yet. On the review of all kinds of study on the fatalness analysis of gas accumulation, a synthesize study on the 416 workface in Chen Jiashan mine is brought into use to analyze the gas effuse and wind flow around subways. Firstly, the statistic law about gas effuse in coal workface and in gob is discussed, and the peculiar rules on the condition of gas drainage system was equipped is studied else. Secondly, aimed at the lack of wind flow in workface, the Monte Carlo simulate was introduced to compute statistic measures of testing sample according to the determine of real wind flow in subways in 416 work area. At last, in order to quantitative analysis of gas accumulation uncertainty, the introduction of the thesis research information entropy uncertainty as gas accumulation characteristic indicators proposed roadway gas flow and air volume of information entropy calculation methods, and a study on the basis of information entropy ventilation roadway Gas Accumulation uncertainties theoretical system was set up else. The INFO ENTROPY risk assessment model is established based on mine ventilation theory, calculating mathematics, and safety information technology. It offers a new way of rational thinking and can be used as a quantified tool to cope with gas safety risks in coal mines. Its potential usage shall be further explored.
